DC Power Systems

Magnetek Telecom Power Group supplies Standard, NEC2400 and PS Series Power Systems with and without battery backup. Standard Power Systems are suitable for powering any Telecom equipment that is designed to operate with or without battery backup. The normal operating voltage range should be from -55.2 to -42.0 DC. Some of the equipment presently being powered by Magnetek Telecom Power -48 Volt DC Power Systems are Nortel, Alcatel, Seimens, Octel, Motorola, Fujitsu, Rolm and Ericsson.

NEC 2400 Power Systems are designed to supply power to equipment that must operate within a narrow voltage range of 50.5 Volts to 42 Volts. While this narrow range power system was designed for the NEC 2400 it is also used for any equipment with a narrow range of input voltage. Some equipment that requires this type power system are older Northern Telecom PBX models, DC powered Octel voice mail systems, Ericsson PBX models and Hitachi PBX systems.

PS Series Power Systems are designed to provide power to the Nortel Meridian 1" digital communication systems. These compact DC power plants provide up to a 600 Amp load capacity in a single 23-inch wide equipment rack. The PS200 line of power systems provide power for -48VDC loads with a capacity of 25 Amps to 200 Amps at 110 Volt or 220 Volt input voltages. The PS600 line powers -48VDC loads with a capacity of 50 Amps to 600 Amps at 220 Volt input voltage and is optimized for the larger Meridian 1" system configurations such as the Option 61C and 81C.

MC1800: Modular Power Shelf consumes only 2 or 3U of rackspace (depending upon orientation of rectifier). 1800 Watts per rectifier. Each shelf can accommodate up to four 30 Amp rectifiers. Includes a CSU and optional PDU.

MC3000 Inverter: 1 kVA and 2 kVA single-phase output. Consumes only 2U of valuable rackspace and incorporates a user-programmable display.
